Some people will tell you that there is no rhyme or reason to love……but I am here to tell you that love is totally a science! I met Ethan and Bethany and started planning their wedding long distance in August 2015. They live in Houston, but wanted to plan a wedding celebration for family and friends in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area.
As we got to know each other I realized that we had a lot in common. The Big Bang Theory is one of our favorite shows and science, so my inner nerd was very excited to work with them to plan their wedding. The decided on Holy Family Catholic Church for their ceremony and Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth for their reception. Bethany wanted a beautiful wedding, with unique accents, so she decided on rose gold, jade and ivory as the color palette and I went to work to create a mood board for them.
We decided on copper piping with white floral and rose gold accents. I love to bring personal details from my couples into their wedding day, so we decided to create a periodic table seating chart with customized test tubes for guests seating assignments.
We were worried about rain on wedding day, due to the large thunderstorm the evening but the day was beautiful, not a cloud in the sky. The ceremony went without a hitch, the bridesmaids looking gorgeous in their gowns and the groomsmen looking very dapper in their suits.
Before entering the reception, Ethan and Bethany along with their photographer, Teshorn Jackson Photography, took some time in the galleries to get photos with the artwork and of course a little alone time.
Now it was time for the celebration to begin! The white flowers provided by Lizzie Bee’s Flower Shoppe, looked amazing against the jade and rose gold linens. Their gorgeous 4 tier rose gold cake with white floral accents by Sweet Thangs by Lo, tasted just as amazing as it looked!
Once dinner was over it was time to dance! All their guests had an amazing time dancing to My DFW Dj’s mix that felt like it was made for them! At the end of the night we escorted the guests out to the front drive and allowed Ethan and Bethany one last dance to close out the night.
They were greeted by their guests with glow necklaces at the end of the night as they rushed to the awaiting car and off to officially start their married life together! Love really is a science and they have figured out the perfect equation!
