Congratulations you are engaged!  This is such an exciting time for you, a new chapter in your life is about to begin….and you have no idea how to get started planning.  Lucky for you, you are in the right place.

Take a moment and enjoy being newly engaged. I advise couples to wait at least 2 weeks to a month before making any major decisions about wedding planning. This will allow you to tell your friends and family and have a conversation with each other about the wedding and what each of you have in mind.

Now, it is time to sit down with your families. If you are not in need of  any financial assistance from them, then the conversation will be more informative.  If you are, then it is important to clearly define who will be responsible for what items and how much the budget will be.

Once that discussion is over it is now time to find a wedding planner, yes a wedding planner.  We are your guide through the rest of the journey.  I tell all my couples, to meet with a few planners and see which one works best for you. The most common misconception of a wedding planner is that people don’t truly understand how we assist you in the planning process. My goal is to make sure that you save time, get the most for your money and create a celebration that is representative of you as a couple.  You can’t afford NOT to have a planner.

If you aren’t sure how we can help, feel free to contact me and we can chat and see how I can help you make your wedding day dreams a reality!
