Brandon and Allison are one of the sweetest couples I have ever had the opportunity to work with. I was actually contracted to work with them before they were officially engaged as a surprise to the bride. They were engaged the week of Thanksgiving with their family and friends and we started planning literally the next day! Her brother is a wedding photographer and told her about Classic Oaks Ranch and they fell in love with it. It was the perfect place for them to host 250 of their closest friends and family.
The details came together smoothly and I had so much fun putting together their design plan! I was able to do a presentation at their venue and she loved each and every detail.
The day of the wedding was perfect and clear! Since it was June in Texas, I was a little worried about the heat, but there was an amazing breeze that kept everything perfect. They wanted to showcase their travels and a few of their favorite things, so they created a few personalized items to go on the tables along with the floral centerpieces that were create by Haute Floral
Ceremony was held outside under a chapel structure, we added draping and floral to create a rustic elegance and the breeze flowing through the drape, along with the sun setting made it breathtaking. They guests moved into the stable area to enjoy cocktails while the couple and bridal party took photos. One unique feature of the venue is that they have a camel on the property and every couple has to have a photo with it and they were no exception!
The reception was a celebration with great food, music and dancing. It even included a song for the adorable flower girls (They danced to the Frozen theme song!) They danced through the night and did a few choreographed country line dances!!
The night ended with a glow stick exit and couple left in their car that was so thoughtfully decorated by their groomsmen…The hotel valet had a nice laugh when they pulled up…lol! All Photos taken by Melinda Leal with Celina Gomez Photography
