When I first met with Shelby and Bobby, I instantly knew that we would work well together. They were an amazing couple, they loved food and like to have fun!  They had started planning their wedding at Clearfork Heart of the Ranch in Fort Worth and quickly realized that there was a lot more details than they were able to handle so they were enlisting my help.

Just to give you a little background, Clearfork Heart of the Ranch is quite literally a field with electricity.  It is beautiful with tall trees and green grass, but you are basically building your wedding from scratch.

I was so excited to take on this project!  Shelby and Bobby wanted rustic with an elegant edge. Their color palette was navy blue, marsala and gold with greenery.  Which worked perfectly with their choice of venue. I created a design based on that and met with the M&M Party rentals and Blushington Blooms to discuss the logistics.

The morning of the wedding the sun was shining bright and we had clear blue skies.  This task was a large one, we only had about 4 hours to build the ceremony and reception site for 200 guests from scratch.  When the guests arrived we were ready for them and the backdrop was completely perfect! After an emotional ceremony, it was time to party!!! One of the things Shelby and Bobby enjoy is going to the food truck park near their house. So it only made sense to use food trucks instead of a traditional catering company. We decided on Rollin Stone and Gepetto’s the guests enjoyed the food trucks, even the older guests were really excited to go up and order from the truck.

As a night cap we had Dough Boy Donuts that made doughnuts fresh to order for our guests on site and of course we had to pair it with the coffee truck and guests enjoyed coffee or hot chocolate with their hot and fresh doughnuts.

The end of the night came too fast as always and we sent the newlyweds off with a sparkler exit and off in their decorated Jeep!
